The Frootniversary was the celebration of the one year anniversary of Froot's purchase of Soyjak.party. This anniversary happens every 22nd of August.

First Anniversary, 113 Board Plan[edit | edit source]

Hello 'teens, today marks the first anniversary of frQQt's purchase of the sharty.

In honour of this, we will be launching the 113 board plan, a spiritual successor to the 50 board plan.

Attached is a letter from frQQt himself explaining the plan.

On the first anniversary there was also a custom theme with mini-Froots falling down in the background.

The 113 board plan will either be cancelled in 3 days or finally be the coal to destroy /soy/ MARK MY WORDS

Added boards[edit | edit source]

In the first few hours of the event, Lennonjak posters, in exile from most other boards, attempted to colonize /lime/, but were pushed back by jannies with a few bans being handed out. A majority of the boards remained relatively silent with activity dying off after the first hour.

Board elimination[edit | edit source]

On August 24th, an unknown member of staff posing as Thanos (aka the Glovenigger) made a post in the stickied Frootniversary thread on /soy/, in which he stated:

All boards with post counts below 100 will be reduced to ashes. You have 3 hours to save your favorite boards.

Subsequently, many soyteens began making threads and replies on their favorite boards in an attempt to help them make it through the first elimination round. Some notable boards included /anthro/ and /fpe/, each of whom enjoyed a relatively high PPH and total post counts in the hundreds due to pre-existing fanbases of both mediums prior to the event. The boards that survived the event included /1488/, /blepe/, /giga5/, /qa4/ and others. Once the 3 hours had passed, Thanos returned to the stickied thread with the following message:

Many boards have been wiped away.

This is not the end. A new challenge will be announced tomorrow.

Remember. In the end, only one nuboard will survive.

August 25th[edit | edit source]

Thanos makes a post again, this time announcing a new challenge:

This is your next challenge.

You have 1 day to create OC related to your boards and the frootniversary (or me) in dedicated threads.

I will select 5 boards that are going to make it to the next stage of the tournament.

Each nuboard received a stickied thread with the message "Submit your board OC in this thread" attached to it. Posters were encouraged to make OC for their favorite boards in order to secure them a place in the next round.

In the end, the boards that survived this event were /anthro/, /fpe/, /pond/, /skibidi/ and /uni/. Every other nuboard was either hidden or deleted, which cleaned up the site's header.

The /anthro/ - /uni/ war is an ongoing conflict between the sharty's anthroposters and an opposition group formed on /uni/.

On August 24th, a thread captioned "this is /uni/'s thread" with a picture of a Twitter famous Japanese cat named Uni[2] emerged on the board. Even though it had no relation to unicycling, it was technically on topic because the board used the cat's namesake, which produced a funny combination. It started out simply enough, with OP sharing various images of Uni. However, somewhere down the line, he wrote "/uni/ won /anthro/ lost", which immediately triggered a spamming spree that multiple people allegedly joined in on. It is unknown why he targeted /anthro/ in specific, but it started a massive chain of spam in the thread, which marked the beginning of the rivalry.

At the time, /anthro/ had the highest PPH out of any other nuboard, so when the spam was at its' highest, they could still keep up with /uni/ without much use of spamming themselves, as they had a larger userbase and more discussions. However, it got a bit tougher during the later stages, as the PPH of both boards would sometimes reach up to 200 during more heated battles. Along with this, OC creation began on both sides as they mocked eachother with 'jak edits. A sharty youtuber named CobsonTALKS also joined in, encouraging his subscribers to help /uni/ on his community tab. As of August 27th, /uni/ has a total post count of 3300, and /anthro/ has a total post count of 4900, the two boards outclassing every other nuboard by a long shot, the closest one being /fpe/ with a post count of 1900.

August 26th[edit | edit source]

Thanos announces the semi-final round of eliminations and lays out the rules:

Only five boards remain. The rest did not provide adequate OC. I especially enjoyed the Thanos theme from /anthro/ and the Thanos video from /skibidi/.

Two minor boards have been saved from the tournament at the direct request of Froot. The survivors: /anthro/, /fpe/, /pond/, /skibidi/ and /uni/ will compete in a 4chan raid tournament. You will raid specific boards and link the posts (preferably via desuarchive, can be screenshots) in your OC submission threads. The 2 boards with the raids that make me laugh the most will advance to the final stage.
These are the boards that you will be raiding: /anthro/ - /mlp/
/fpe/ - /co/
/pond/ - /bant/
/skibidi/ - /tv/
/uni/ - /sp/

We're in the endgame now.

After this announcement, many 'teens scrambled to organize in designated raiding threads where they could discuss their plans and strategies. Posters in /anthro/ had a particularly hard time, as the /mlp/ board bans both soyjaks and anthropomorphic ponies in any context. Things would get a little easier when Thanos gave them permission to raid /trash/ as well, giving them two boards to work with. He also later established that boards were not restricted in the types of posts that they could make, with the only rules being that they had to make him laugh and that they should be at least partially Sharty related, which took some stress off of the participants.

Mandatory viewing
Mandatory viewing 2 (with a /trash/ portion as well)

/anthro/ users started out with a bait thread that asked /mlp/ to convince them to watch their show.[3] The thread was filled with stealthjaks and 'teens trying to bait the /mlp/ natives, often succeeding. Snitches were also kept at bay for most of the thread. It was a good start, with the thread amassing 110 replies before being deleted by jannies. From there they expanded and made more threads. One of them was a zebra thread[4] where most of the replies were in ebonics, entertaining the /mlp/ belief that zebras were equal to niggers. It reached 76 replies.

The next target was /trash/, where a 'teen entered a /hmofa/ thread and typed out a seethe inducing paragraph about the evils of pornography and masturbation while boasting about /anthro/'s prosperity as a board.[5]

This did not go over well with /trash/ natives, who proceeded to hurl insults at the sharty, calling it "an imageboard for pedophiles", "a CP sharing website", "a honeypot", saying that "all of its' posters deserved a 9mm bullet in the back of their heads" and so on. This post essentially derailed the entire thread, as posters kept giving it (You)s and expressing their dissapointment even as the bump limit was reached. Overall it was a big /anthro/ victory with many hilarious screenshots being gathered.

>♪ I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed... ♪

After that, they raided a few other minor furry fetish generals, mostly with gemmy soyquotes and copypastas.[6][7][8]

(The /fpe/, /pond/, /uni/ and /skibidi/ raid portions are still a work in progress, feel free to add info if you have it)

August 27th[edit | edit source]

Thanos returns once again to announce the winners of the raid competition.

/pond/, /skibidi/ and /uni/ have all failed in making me laugh and have been destroyed. I especially enjoyed the videos /anthro/ prepared and the fact /fpe/ could keep a bait thread up on an active board for an entire day. Two boards remain, but only one can be the winner of the event.

In the same post, the final challenge of the whole event was revealed. The two remaining boards, /anthro/ and /fpe/, would be competing in a Tetris tournament for their survival.

This is your final challenge. I want /anthro/ and /fpe/ to select 1 champion per board for a Tetris tournament. They will compete for the grand prize of not having their board reduced to ashes.

More details regarding the game itself will be announced closer to the scheduled time. Good luck.

And thus, the final stage of the Frootniversary had commenced. Out of 113 boards, two came out on top, and they would be facing off against eachother to decide who would live, and who would turn to dust. A several hour long timer was set by Thanos, along with stickied threads on both boards to let each of them strategize and decide on who their competitor would be. However, the very nature of having to fight another board to the death upset many soyteens on both sides, who wished for both boards to stay up, as they had no conflicts between eachother and just wanted to keep to themselves. Small protest threads were seen on both boards, and talks of outright refusing to send anyone to compete were also discussed. However, Thanos went on to elaborate that he would "not hesitate to erase any board that did not present a champion", which diminished any hopes for peace.

The winner[edit | edit source]

Eventually, /fpe/ would reign as the winner, this was decided over a tetr.io game, after a user by the name of "TheycallmeDSP" won against /anthro/'s champions being "Furaryan" and "soyjakS", Thanos announced that he would give /anthro/ 15 minutes until their board was deleted.

/ta/[edit | edit source]

After the event ended, Froot added another board on the 30th of August called "/ta/ - Tallking Animals", presumbaly intended for furfags. A squirrelposter had the idea to raid the board and in the process they stole like 15 gets. The war resulted in a SQVRRIEL VVIN.
