The Direct Democracy week (Also known as Direct Democracy Day) was an event hosted by 9a0c where users may submit their own rules that would be implemented site wide for a week, even though it only lasted for 1 whole day before 16 'teens voted to end it in a poll.

Event

Users may submit their own rules to the board in the form of a poll. If the poll had a 50% or higher majority of people voting for its implementation and atleast 25 votes, it would be added as a new rule for the week.

14 new rules were implemented:

1. Posting from Israel, India, China, Oklahoma and Mexico is forbidden
2. Posting on any board other than /soy/ is forbidden
3. Fun is forbidden
4. Cytubes are permitted
5. The posting of Goku is forbidden
6. Posting Soyjaks is forbidden
