Main Page/Featured Gem

To schedule a new featured gem, go to the relevant subpage with the date you want (syntax is Featured Gem:Main Page/Featured Gem/MONTH DAY, YEAR) and insert the [[Featured]] template. Once you're done, add it to the archive below. If you want to feature the same thing multiple days in a row, instead of using the [[Featured]] template every time, transclude the first page's contents into the other pages using this syntax {{:First Page Name Here}}.

If no featured gems are scheduled, the Featured Gem:Main Page will look up to two days ago for older featured gems and use those; Otherwise, it will use Featured Gem:Main Page/Featured Gem/Static. Starting from March 28, 2025, featured gems are scheduled on a weekly basis. If nothing is scheduled and the static featured gem is displayed, schedule something for the week ahead instead of modifying the static featured gem.

For jannies, mass protection of featured gems is made easier, through the Protection Index.
