Most Mediators look like this

Mediator, AKA Dalit, less commonly medilator, or rather Root’s Little Bitch is a newly-created position in the sharty's staff role. They were entered into the unpaid workforce on June 24th, 2024. Estimates approximate the number of mediators to be between 50-80.

Mediators are below jannies and will essentially serve as their helpers: like jannies, they will check the catalogue and report users, but unlike them they cannot delete posts but only vote for their deletion (unless it's illegal content). The mediator position was created by ROOT on May 11th, 2024, opening the application contest the same day.

What a Mediator Looks Like

Identifying Mediators

Mediators are supposedly not allowed to tell others that they are a mediator^{(They just can't, okay?)} Identifying mediators can be difficult as they don't have a tripcode. However there are some ways that You can. Mediators have a [V]ote button next to posts. You can identify them if they mistakenly post a screenshot containing this button. They're also capable of posting on hidden boards (Probably through mod.php?/boardname). If they namefag on a hidden board (like the mediator board or boards that are temporarily only accessible to jannies such as /raid/ after soyak.party was shut down), then they are a mediator or higher-privileged staff.
