/pol/ - Politically Incorrect is 4chan's primary board for "political discussion".[it just is, ok?]

It is likely the most well known imageboard board known to mankind, mostly for its influence on post-2016 American politics and mentioning/namedropping by several politicians and celebrities. Most users are right-wing, although there is a visible left-wing minority. It's also commonly used as a shitposting board, which has caused internal controversy.

It is known by most people as an ultra-hateful far-right Nazi center, even though nearly all right-wing sentiments are similar to your average boomer Facebook group. The board has been linked to various instances of real life violence (so does literally every other website though).

Originally, /pol/ was created on November 10, 2011, as a spin-off of /new/ (News), which was deleted 8 months prior. This deletion was due to the fact that a large portion of the users on /new/ were "stormfront users" or "Nazis" which caused the moderators of 4chan to delete the board entirely before creating /pol/. /pol/ has been described as a containment board.

The current state of /pol/[edit | edit source]

It's widely agreed upon that /pol/ is currently a politically themed random board due to extremely low quality content, But this isn’t a surprise, its a political shitposting board, But it used to be a good one. and general coal being posted, such as niggerdick spam it doesn’t end there, this includes:

The large drop in quality can be attributed to /pol/'s massive rise in popularity during and after the election of Donald Trump when /pol/ was frequently mentioned in the mainstream media, which caused a massive influx of newfags who weren't adapted to the board and site culture, and irreversibly pozloaded the formerly Aryan[it just is, ok?] board's neghole. It is a commonly mentioned fact on 4cuck that another factor for the decline in quality of /pol/ is due to an invasion of bots, paid shills and federal agents that hindered the quality of posts. If you ask the average oldfag nowadays, xhe will say the board has been completely dominated by them.

/pol/ was never good because it has always been full of pedophiles just like every other board on 4cuck (except qway).

A left-wing board before Stormfront invasion?[edit | edit source]

Some people will assert that /pol/ was a centre-left or left-wing board before "Stormfront" flooded it. This is SOMEWHAT untrue, albeit /pol/ had a right-wing majority though. The userbase mostly ranged from Ron Paul libertarians to Nazis, this can be proven by looking at early archives,[1][2] discussing /pol/ in 2012 (/pol/ itself has little to no archives before 2014).

/pol/ has been linked to mass shooters such as Brenton Tarrant and Payton Gendron. It has been theorized that they either have no lives, spent their days on /pol/ and end up radicalized, or they might have been psyops orchestrated by the feds.

This is, much like the rest of 4chan, a very racist board. The reason why if you’re ‘Out Of The Know’ is that racism is deeply ingrained in 4chan culture, seeming that it is a anonymous imageboard, why wouldn’t you go and spam:

Politics are the worst of the internet.
