The War on Reddit or the Global War on Redditards is an ongoing war against the social networking site Reddit by many other websites, including the Sharty.[it just is, ok?] It has involved many smaller conflicts and raids. The exact beginning of the war is disputed, though it is believed to have originated in the late 2010s, during Donald Trump's first presidency.
Origins[edit | edit source]
As we all know, Redditors are left-leaning, and they were predictably pissed when Donald Trump won the 'lection in 2016. Reddit's staff is equally retarded, demonstrating by their banning of right-leaning subreddits, most notably r/The_Donald.
Pandemic[edit | edit source]
During the COVID-19 pandemic, as Redditors put their literal masks on, their metaphorical masks started to come off, showing their true colors. Redditors fantasized about putting anyone who didn't obey quarantine rules into camps, while also celebrating every time someone they didn't like[Marge...].[1]
2020 'lection[edit | edit source]
Redditors gloated relentlessly about Joe Biden (illegitimately) winning the 2020 United States presidential election. Reddit was one of the main hubs where the narrative that January 6 was a "coup attempt" spread.
Early 2020s[edit | edit source]
Reddit became more of a left-wing echochamber, but began facing some more pushback. In 2022, Elon Musk bought Twitter and turned it into X, creating a new front for the war. Most notably, user @Reddit_Lies began exposing Redditors for the vile scum they are.
2024 'lection and Trump's second term[edit | edit source]
Leading up to the 2024 United States presidential election, Reddit was a major source of propaganda, especially with subreddits like r/KamalaHarrisMemes. You couldn't spend one second on Reddit without seeing some shit about how Joe Biden or Kamala Harris was going to "save America from fascism" or something. Notably, on July 13, 2024, a Redditor shot Trump in the ear in an assassination attempt.
Reddit had one of its famous meltdowns after Trump won. A subreddit was created to bitch and moan about how the election was "rigged" (ironic considering what they said about election denial in 2020.)[2] After Trump's inauguration, Redditors began advocating for terrorism and assassinations. Some performed violent acts in real life such as vandalizing Teslas and Tesla dealerships. InfoWars writer Jamie White was killed by a rouge tranny, although it is unknown if the killer has any connections to Reddit. (For all I know since this happened in Texas, it was probably just your typical case of niggers committing crime.) They then start playing the victim when they get arrested for it and whine about how "America is falling to fascism" or something.
On December 4, 2024, Redditor Luigi Mangione shot and killed Brian Thompson. Naturally, Redditors praised him because they want to kill everyone they don't like. This led to him being worshiped as Reddit's new hero and wishing for more copycats to do the same to other people they don't like.
On March 13th 2025, 100+ trannies stormed the Trump Tower in NYC in support for some random sandnigger that was arrested for supporting Hamas. Naturally, Redditors praised this event because "Orange man evil and bad".
