Ethan West Medearis, primarily known online as Westthewerst, or Lamedev_ is the developer of the game Webfishing. He was 'oxed by the sharty in a /raid/ thread[1] for pandering to trannies and furries by adding objects alluding to sexual fetishes into the game instead of fixing the issue of porn addicts, zoophiles, and groomers overrunning his game which is obviously played by minors. He also apparently responded to requests for a "Straight" title by adding it to the ingame store for an exorbitantly high price to troll the heckin cishetscum or something.[2]

The steam page for webfishing currently makes no mention of the game's sexual content, merely containing a warning for "Some swearing, and very light crude humor." The game is NOT an unmoderated free-for-all hunting ground for groomers that's being used by a massive number of kids, meds. Also, at the time of writing, his game has basically no anticheat and it's full of hackers grabbing people's IP addresses and corrupting their saves. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG.

Some argue that it's not the developer's fault for fostering these chatrooms where malicious sex pests have these conversations and the only separation between them and children is the child lying about their age, and that it's okay to have unmoderated sexting rooms because there are many other unmoderated chats where children also victimized, so this one should be allowed to exist too. They may also place all blame on the parents of the children. Luckily, the great thing about fault is that it's not a finite resource; the parents having failed doesn't get the developer off the hook.

And remember, CHVD, most adolescents are curious about sex or watch porn already so if you don't want them joining lobbies full of deranged zoophiles talking about dog dick and "getting knotted" then you're a HECKIN PURITAN PEARL-CLUTCHING CHRISTCEL!!!

He had such abysmal opsec that his Bluesky account was also hacked into and used to broadcast some of the images in the gallery below, among other gems. He decided to "go silent" (-ACK! ) after his Bluesky account was compromised.
